About Me
Howdy, my name is Joe Matasso.
​
I am currently a finance major in the Business Honors Program at Texas A&M University, where I'm also pursuing a Minor in Economics and a Master's in Financial Management.
Throughout college, I have sought professional growth through a variety of experiences. These include on-campus involvement, an international exchange at EM Strasbourg Business School in France, and internships in construction, Camp Ozark, and most recently, on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
I am proud to be an Eagle Scout and a Texas A&M Presidential Endowed Scholar. I have also been a recipient of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship, Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship, and the College Board Rural and Small Town Scholarship.
My Experience with Scholarships -
During my senior year of high school, I chose to take full responsibility for my college education - and have since covered 100% of the cost of my undergraduate degree. I understand how difficult this journey can be, but I've discovered that with commitment, hard work, and the right information, anyone can achieve success.
Now, I dedicate my work to helping other students in similar situations achieve success in higher education by securing scholarships.

Like many high school students, I was faced with the daunting task of paying for college. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that college counselors are often uninformed or overworked, while online resources are filled with opportunistic scams and unhelpful advice.
